When Arnie Alpert retired in 2020 after nearly 4 decades with the American Friends Service Committee, he didn’t just take a rest. He created a website, New Hampshire Radical History, with several dozens of stories to inform and inspire current and future history-makers.
Arnie also writes the “Active with the Activists” column for InDepthNH.org, a free, nonprofit news source. On this July 4th weekend, Arnie will engage us with stories of New Hampshire people who have taken action for freedom, justice, and democracy.
