Peace and Justice Conversations: Reflections on 14 Years

August 28 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Fourteen years ago at the beginning of the Obama administration, Will moved into the role of Executive Director at NH Peace Action. Join Will for his final talk as Director about the lessons he has learned, the changes that we have helped bring about, and those we still must bring to fruition. Will will share parting thoughts about centering our work in human dignity and nonviolence, working with patience, speaking our message from a place of reason, and rethinking our assumptions and reactions

Will Hopkins has served as Executive Director of New Hampshire Peace Action, New Hampshire’s largest and only statewide peace group since 2009.
Will is a lifelong New Hampshire resident who served for six years in the New Hampshire National Guard, and was decorated for valor during a year-long tour in Iraq as an Infantryman which included the fall 2004 Fallujah offensive.

About NHPA’s bi-weekly Zoom Peace & Justice Conversation Series: 2020’s upheavals brought us to a new moment of reckoning and possibility. How do we want to live in the world? What do we value? How can we make the changes we’ve been yearning for? NH Peace Action has been engaged in working for change for decades. We’d like to bring you into these conversations about issues and options for the future.  There is no charge to attend, but your contributions in any amount are greatly appreciated.
