Join us on Wednesday, December 20, 4-5pm at the entrance to Henry Law Park, intersection of Washington and Main Streets, across the street from Senator Shaheen’s office, 340 Central Avenue, Dover NH for a silent candlelight vigil for all who are suffering violence, displacement, terror, and grief in Palestine and Israel.
We will implore Senator Shaheen to join the call for a permanent ceasefire, an end to the Israeli bombardment and blockade of Gaza, and an end to US military aid to Israel.
This event is not a rally. It is a solemn vigil of lamentation for the many thousands of lives lost, and an expression of our steadfast commitment to human rights and peace among all peoples.
This vigil is hosted by AFSC-NH, NH Peace Action, the Community Church of Durham, Palestine Education Network & Veterans for Peace-NH. All are welcome. This is an outdoor event. Please dress for the weather. Bring a candle if you have one.
