2023 Annual Event: A Unified Response to Interlocking Crises
September 29, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Please join us for NH Peace Action Education Fund’s 2023 Annual Event & Fall Fundraiser, A Unified Response to Interlocking Crises, in person for the first time since 2020 (Zoom option also available, see ticket link)!
Rev. Theoharis will talk about how people are coming together to confront the interlocking evils of systemic racism, poverty,
ecological devastation, militarism and the war economy, and the distorted moral narrative of religious nationalism.
We understand that as a nation we are at a critical juncture — that we need a movement that will shift the moral narrative, impact policies and elections at every level of government, and build lasting power for poor and impacted people.
She has been organizing among poor and low-income communities for thirty years with organizations such as the National Union of the Homeless, the National Welfare Rights Union, the Coalition of Immokalee Workers, Domestic Workers United and many more.
