NEW HAMPSHIRE VIGILS listed alphabetically by town

ANTRIM Saturdays, 11 am-noon. Silent protest – in support of our troops, but against the war. In front of the Antrim Town Hall, Main St. (Rt 202). Bring your own sign, or just come stand with me.

BRISTOL Wednesday Witness for Peace. 7:30 pm weekly cande-light vigil.  Jct. Rtes. 104 and 3A (across from the Post Office in Bristol).

CLAREMONT Saturdays, noon-1 pm. Bring Them Home NOW! vigil.  Washington St, corner of Winter (in front of Rite-Aid). Park at rear of Birney’s mini-mart lot diagonally across the intersection. We have lots of signs OR bring your own.  Contact: Jom Romer 542-6124.

DOVER Saturdays 11-noon. Peace Vigil on the traffic island at the corner of Central Ave. & Washington St. in Dover sponsored by the Seacoast Peace Response and War Resistor’s League of Southeastern NH. Silent vigil in front of the Parson Main statue on Main St., sponsored by the Department of Peace group and the Farmington Progressive Group.  Assemble in the municipal parking lot behind Slim’s Tex Mex restaurant.  We will have candles and simple peace signs to let passers-by know why we are there. WELLS Sundays noon – 12:30 pm. Women in Black stand in silent vigil in front of the Ocean View Cemetery located on Rte 1 in Wells, across from the Junior High School. VERMONT VIGILS

BRADFORD Thursdays at 7:30pm. Coos Peace and Justice Alliance presents Free Thursday Evening Series at the Middle Earth Music Hall in Bradford.  Speakers begin each Thursday at 7:30 pm and are followed by a short discussion period for people to share thoughts, comments and questions about the evenings topic.
